Based in South Australia, He has gained considerable international recognition for his trade mark surreal installations & inspired paintings, where he puts politicians, orchestras, live cows, Hills hoists, Archbishops and hundreds of suited volunteers in the sea for photo shoots. A finalist in over 20 art prizes, most notably three times in the Doug Moran National Portrait prize. His paintings are in the collections of ANZ Bank Singapore, The Australian Embassy Rome Italy, Government house SA, NewsLtd & United Nations Association of Australia. Included in a European encyclopaedia of surrealism “Lexikon der Surrealisten” also a Portuguese book on Surrealism “International Surrealism Now”. Andrew has collaborated with many organisations & luminaries to bring his projects to fruition including Both the West Australian & Adelaide Symphony Orchestras, United Nations Association of Australia, Wirra Wirra Winery, Holstein Australia, Hills Holdings, Anglicare, Beyond Blue, The Sydney Daily Telegraph, The State Gallery of WA, Amanda Vanstone, Malcolm Turnbull, Alexander Downer, Natasha Stott Despoja & Colin Barnett. In 2011, Andrew was commissioned by Wirra Wirra Winery to paint the label for their Scrubby Rise series. Over one million bottles have been distributed internationally. His latest commission was for the UNAA, to do a painting to be used on official United Nations envelopes. Most recently he collaborated with Holstein Australia to put a herd of cows in the ocean at Geelong. He was then featured on American TV program USA Today. His latest project was a foray in to film making with “Escape of the corporate battery Hens”.

Included in a Portuguese book of surrealist art entitled “International Surrealism Now” Andrew is currently the only Australian included in a European travelling exhibition of the same name. Collaborated with Holstein Australia to put a herd of dairy cows in the sea in Geelong Victoria, The event received international media coverage. Andrew was featured on American TV program USA Today, where he was described as “Australia’s Salvador Dali”. Recent exhibitions in London UK, Lisbon Portugal & Brussels Belgium. Commissioned by the United Nations Association of Australia To create a painting to be used on official UN envelopes to celebrate the UN’s 70th Birthday. Has written and produced his first short film entitled “Escape of the Corporate Battery Hen”. Brolga Publishing published & distributed internationally Andrew’s first book entitled ‘Muesum of my Mind’ A collection of Andrew’s photo, paintings & quotes
