Gallery One is one of Queensland’s leading contemporary fine art galleries.
Based on the dynamic and culturally rich Gold Coast, Gallery One represents collectible and established multi award-winning Australian Artists, including Archibald, Wynne and Sulman winners and finalists.
Director Leanne Pearce with Gallery Manager Karen Spooner, opened the state-of-the-art Gallery One space in Ferry Rd Southport in May 2010 with a charity auction to raise funds for the Olivia Newton John Cancer & Wellness Centre Appeal. In August the gallery was officially opened by leading Gold Coast businessman Sahba Abedian and Gold Coast Tourism CEO Martin Winter.
Gallery One represents many high profile artists including Ken Done, Craig Ruddy, David Bromley, Dean Home, Ken Johnson, Mel Brigg, Cynthia Breusch, Claire Bridge, Kathryn Longhurst, Min Woo-Bang, Paul Haggith, Suey McEnnally, Emma Hack, Juli Hutchings, Christopher McVinish, Craig Parnaby and Jennifer Riddle.
Gallery One’s philosophy is to showcase the best of Australian Investment Art and support mid-career and established artists through an exciting exhibition schedule and events calendar. The benefit to the public is a heightened exposure to collectable investment pieces and access to advice about the selection of artwork via the art consultation process. Fine art consultant Lucy Miles joined the Gallery in late 2016 after completing a BFA (painting) from QCA, Griffith University and an Honours degree in Art History from the University of Queensland.
Our aim is to realise the vision of Gallery One becoming one of Australia’s premier galleries.
