A sense of selfJune 19 – July 3, 2015
Leisa Russell A SENSE OF SELF When I think of a sense of self I think of personal identity. How we identify with
self. How we think and feel about self. What we know and believe about self.
How we see ourselves in the present can differ greatly to how we saw ourselves in the past and quite possibly who we’ll see ourselves as in the future.
Developing a strong sense of self and a clear understanding of self through our personal beliefs, behaviours and attributes will directly impact and establish who we are, how we live and what we wish to and will ultimately accomplish with our life.
This intimate collection of works reveals the graduation between past and present, vulnerability and courage, fragility, and strength, and, insecurity and confidence.
